Radar has become widely accepted as the standard measuring technology for reliable measurement of liquids. This non-contacting measuring principle combines reliability with easy handling in a wide variety of applications.
With continuous measurement of solids, however, compromises often have to be made. Dust, filling noise, mechanical loads and diffi cult installation conditions often cause unreliable measuring results or even complete blackout of the measurement.
With the new VEGA radar sensor for bulk solids, these weaknesses and inadequacies have become a thing of the past. VEGAPULS 68 combines the advantages of radar measurement technology with the special requirements of bulk solids measurement.
