50 years of precision work
The letter "V" has a quite special meaning for us this year: it is not only the first letter of our company name, it also stands for the Roman numeral V. Because, in 2009, we are celebrating five decades of VEGA and thus five decades of precision work. VEGA was founded in 1959. Today – 50 years later – we’re able to offer a custom-made solution for practically any measurement problem. All this was made possible by customers who trust the "V" and know that it stands for quality and reliability. Many thanks.

plics®plus – the consistent further development of a successful concept
The instrument concept plics® is based on a modular system. Housings and process fittings can be freely combined and there is a standardised adjustment system for all measuring instruments. With this ingenious concept VEGA has been simplifying the world of measurement technology already since 2003. But now, things are getting even better: this proven instrument concept is being carried forward with many innovations. Get ready for plics®plus: Additional double-chamber housings of synthetic material and high-grade steel offer the user a housing selection that is unique on the market. You have the choice! New measuring principles like microwave barrier and radiometric measurement expand the possibilities and optimally round out the range of applications. Other real highlights are the instrument adjustment directly on the sensor with the updated indicating and adjustment module PLICSCOM as well as the new DTMs, which were developed along the lines of the FDT Style Guide.
